Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Technician
Location: PA, West Hazleton
Pay Range: $35.50/hr; • Shift Differential $4.00/hr • Opening on 3rd shift (Sun-Thursday 10:30PM-6:30AM, with weekend oncall coverage requirements)

What’s the Job?

Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair electrical equipment breakdowns and malfunctions.

Perform root cause analysis to improve process reliability.

Interpret electrical schematics and repair electrical/electronic components.

Troubleshoot and modify PLC programming as needed.

Calibrate and maintain electronic instrumentation.

What’s Needed?

Experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting, including PLCs, motors, VFDs, and control systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Knowledge of automation software such as RS Logix, PanelBuilder, and related technologies.

Experience with calibration of instrumentation (flowmeters, transmitters, control valves).

Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
