Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of new automated production linesTroubleshoot and resolve issues with automated manufacturing equipmentUnderstand and maintain automation systems integrated into production processesDiagnose and repair Bar Code vision systemsTrain operators on proper use and safety of automated equipmentCollaborate with Maintenance, Operators, and Automation Engineers to improve system performanceContinuously enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience working with manufacturing equipment (automation preferred)Strong knowledge of:Automation systems and troubleshootingElectrical systems and controls engineeringHMI interfaces and roboticsPLC programming and diagnostics (Automation Direct & Rockwell preferred)Experience with Epson Robots and Automation Direct PLCsAssociate’s degree in a technical field (EET, MET, Automation, Advanced Manufacturing, etc.)

Work Environment & Schedule

Location: Michigan City, INShift: 2nd shift (7 PM – 7 AM)Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation (alternating 36 and 48-hour weeks, includes some weekends)Benefits:80 hours of PTO6 paid holidaysOvertime opportunities available

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
