Role Overview
Make field decisions regarding electrical, instrumentation, and controls construction requirements. Confirm compliance with project Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures. Supervise installation of PLC and DCS networks, including loop testing and calibrations. Liaise between site engineering requests, home office engineering, and construction contractors. Review detailed design drawings for constructability purposes. Coordinate construction sequences and activities between on-site contractors. Review contractor plans regarding equipment usage and cycle times. Establish and monitor contract budgets and schedules, including assessment of change order requests.Skills & Qualifications
Instrumentation and Controls Expertise: Strong understanding of I&C systems and maintenance. Safety Management: Knowledge of Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) management. Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret electrical, instrumentation, and controls installation plans. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication for field conditions and remediation steps. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teams without direct authority. Adaptability: Capacity to manage tight deadlines and changing priorities. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite.Education & Experience
Technical Degree: Discipline appropriate technical degree or equivalent professional experience. Experience: Previous experience in a closely related position.Pay & Benefits
