Compensation: $45-48/hourLocation: Mentone, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), holidays and PTO Responsibilities Perform corrective & preventative maintenance on Automation and I&E systemsAttend safety meetings and work safelyDiagnose routine and non-routine equipment malfunction by observing operation, listening, and using diagnostic equipment to locate causes of troubleInstall and maintain process control and data gathering systemsInstall, maintain, and program GE plc, Allen Bradley plc, and Wonder ware HMI systemsRead and prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&I.D.)Recognize danger signals from equipment indicating a need for emergency procedures, which include the shutdown of equipmentReview and organize material inventory by examining stock to verify conformance to specification; count and sort incoming articles, compile reports on inventory and recommend to supervision ordering of replacement and additionsTrain co-workers in safe and proper job proceduresTroubleshoot, calibrate, repair, tune, configure and install electronic I/P converters, positioners, transmitters etcTroubleshoot, repair, and install compressor panel boardsKnowledge of PSM and mechanical drawings, maintenance records, maintenance procedures, equipment drawings, and maintenance manualsParticipate in PHA and PSSR eventsKnowledge of all safety aspects of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, including compliance with OSHA 1910Regular and reliable attendance is required Qualifications Minimum Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or trainingMinimum of 2-3 years of work related oilfield experienceSpecific experience in and proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC required. Specific experience and proficiency with RS-500 and 5000 requiredMust have a mechanical aptitudeHas a solid understanding of utilizing horsepower and compressionUnderstand end devices such as pressure transmitters, DP transmitters, radars, actuators both electric and pneumatic, turbine meters, ultrasonic meters, vibration transmitters, and temperature transmitters. Able to troubleshoot equipment failuresNeeds to have a basic electrical knowledge base. Example: needs to know how a basic relay works and how to wire one, understand how to wire transmitters and understand how grounding systems workMaintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the companySelf-driven and be able to take care of business without daily instruction
