Lead and design of automation standards, electrical, and instrumentation work practices to insure continued reliability of plant equipment. Comply with safety/food safety policies, local/federal codes and/or regulations (i.e. National Electric Code, NFPA 70E, OSHA,) and good engineering practicesProvide technical expertise to site personnel relative to project design/build, training and development as well as support to address issues with existing equipment and processesActive and ongoing communication with management, plant floor system team and process and controls centers of excellence, to ensure alignment of strategic direction, collaboration and project development/executionSecure and Maintain accurate/current files of PLC logic/code, VFD parameters, electrical drawings and schematics etcTravel and research. Stay up to date on Manfacturers upgrades, software, firmware changes etc Will require up to 5% travel. Working in plant environmentRequired Qualifications
5+ years experience within electrical, instrumentation and automation disciplinesDemonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational capabilitiesAbility to travel on occasionPreferred Qualifications
University or near university degree in Electrical-, Process Control-, Instrumentation-Engineering or equalManaging complex projectsAbility to deal with ambiguityPlease note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement
