Our client is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is expected to last 6 months, with potential for additional extensions. This position would require 3 days a week on-site in Belfast and 2 days remote for the duration.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven track record as an Automation QA Engineer. Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, specifically SpecFlow and/or Cucumber. Strong experience with modern UI automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium. Experience in testing APIs (REST/GraphQL). Basic programming/scripting skills (ideally in C# to align with the backend). Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Highly Desirable:

Experience testing applications in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of non-functional testing (performance, load). Experience in the financial services or FinTech domain.
