Job Title: Automation QA Engineer - Fusion Trade System (FTS)

Contract: 6-month initial (possible extension)

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week- 2 days remote)

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview:

As the Automation QA Engineer, you will be the guardian of quality for the FTS platform. You will design and implement a comprehensive automation strategy that covers the C# backend APIs, the GraphQL layer, and the React frontend. Using BDD frameworks like SpecFlow and UI tools like Playwright, your goal is to ensure that every component of the system is robust, reliable, and meets business requirements before it reaches clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs (C#, GraphQL) and React UI Use SpecFlow/Cucumber for BDD test development Integrate tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with devs and BAs to create clear, effective test cases Report on test results and coverage

Required Skills:

Strong experience in automation QA Hands-on with SpecFlow/Cucumber and Playwright/Selenium API testing (REST/GraphQL) Basic C# programming CI/CD test integration Experience with AWS

Desirable:

Performance/load testing FinTech or financial services background
