You'll play a critical role in implementing fully automated systems and retrofitting robotics into CNC machines. From control panel assembly to system programming and testing, this role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end automation projects in a fast-paced and highly collaborative setting. ResponsibilitiesBuild, wire, and install PLC control panels and connect to motors, sensors, and pneumatic systemsProgram PLCs using ladder logic and coordinate communication between CNC machines and automation systemsDesign and install robot programs to enable automated material handling and machine operationsTroubleshoot and test automation components including sensors, relays, motors, and safety systemsSource and manage the installation of new automation equipment, including conveyors, load/unload systems, and part handling devicesRead and create schematics and drawings for automation layouts and wiring diagramsReverse-engineer robotics and integrate into existing CNC milling and turning equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams on design concepts, performance testing, and process improvementsCoordinate with third-party contractors and vendors during equipment installations or upgradesAnalyze performance data and employee feedback to refine systems and improve reliabilityParticipate in the design of tooling, fixtures, and pallet changers to optimize production flowQualifications and RequirementsTechnical degree or certification in PLC programming, electronics, or industrial automation2–4 years of experience working with robotics and programmable controls in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of low-voltage wiring, sensors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systemsProficiency with controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platformsSolid troubleshooting skills and ability to manage projects independentlyStrong verbal and written communication in English (bilingual a plus)Benefits and PerksSalary: $100K+ DOEMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)Paid Holidays and PTOTechnical training and professional growth opportunitiesYour New OrganizationJoin a company that champions hands-on innovation and process excellence.
