Automation Maintence Technician

Must be open to any shift on their schedule: 4x 10s Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday **6a-6p** or **6p-6a** **Pay: $28.30/hr** **Job Description** As a Mechanical and Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors. You will also complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures, perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries, and enter downtime data in daily logs while completing PM sheets. **Responsibilities** + Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors). + Complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. + Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. + Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete PM sheets. + Possess electrical knowledge of basic components. + Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment. + Track and store the department inventory, including spare parts. **Essential Skills** + Industrial maintenance and equipment maintenance experience. + Must have 6 months of experience performing maintenance on equipment within the last 2 years of employment. + Diagnostic testing and mechanical troubleshooting skills. + Preventive maintenance expertise. + Knowledge of lockout, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor maintenance, schematics, and motors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment. + Experience in running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and creating work orders. + Preferred candidates have an associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, military training, or hands-on training related to the maintenance field. **Why Work Here?** Join a top world employer recognized by Forbes for three consecutive years. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, with positions available for all shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
