Automation Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Advanced Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role provides advanced technical support for the installation, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated and electronic equipment. You will work independently and with a team on projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and HMI systems, supporting continuous improvement and preventive maintenance efforts.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems.Modify and create HMI programs; adjust robot paths and vision systems.Support new equipment launches and retrofits.Perform and improve preventive maintenance using CMMS software.Respond quickly to production issues and minimize downtime.

Essential Skills

5+ years as a technician in an automated environment OR Associate’s Degree in a technical fieldAbility to troubleshoot PLC/HMIs, and industrial robotics (ABB preferred).Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities.Proficiency in English; Spanish bilingual preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.Capability to work for 8–12 hours with frequent bending, twisting, and hand use.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting, typically working 45-55 hours per week with some weekends as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
