Our Client is a world-leading manufacturer in the Oil and Gas Industry.
For their exponentially growing operations, they are looking for an 'Automation Maintenance Manager'.
The Role:
Lead and oversee all automation maintenance activities within a large-scale industrial plant.
This role is responsible for ensuring high equipment reliability, safe operations, and cost-effective maintenance performance, combining strong technical expertise with people leadership and project ownership.
Your Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate all activities within the Automation Maintenance function.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Drive reliability and availability of all automation systems through effective maintenance strategies.
• Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Manage automation improvement, modification, and investment projects.
• Allocate maintenance resources efficiently to achieve optimal operational performance.
• Supervise contractors and external service providers, ensuring quality, safety, and cost control.
• Coordinate major maintenance activities, shutdowns, and plant projects.
• Support annual maintenance planning and budgeting in collaboration with preventive maintenance teams.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate automation maintenance personnel, promoting a strong safety and performance culture.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial automation maintenance roles.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing contractors in a plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of automation equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ERP / CMMS systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High sense of accountability, integrity, and operational discipline.
