Work #LikeABosch • Reinvent yourself: At Bosch, you will evolve. • Discover new directions: At Bosch, you will find your place. • Balance your life: At Bosch, your job matches your lifestyle. • Celebrate success: At Bosch, we celebrate you. • Be yourself: At Bosch, we value values. • Shape tomorrow: At Bosch, you change lives. **Job Description** + Design, develop, and implement automated manufacturing processes, equipment, and work cells + 3D modeling and tooling design capability required. + Identify opportunities to automate manual or inefficient processes to improve productivity and quality + Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning and production ramp-up + Develop process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, control concepts, and technical specifications + Collaborate with controls engineers, equipment suppliers, and integrators on system design and validation + Perform process capability studies, cycle time analysis, and ROI evaluations for automation initiatives + Troubleshoot and optimize automated equipment to ensure reliable, repeatable performance + Support new product introductions by developing manufacturable and automatable processes + Create and maintain documentation including work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and standard operating procedures + Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements + Train operators and maintenance personnel on new automated systems + Develop and maintain APQP documents such as PFMEA, flow charts, etc. + Develop and maintain process documentation such as Set-up Instructions and Work Instructions. + Lead and/or provide input for the specification, design, build and launch of new processes. + Lead and/or participate in procurement, installation and runoff of new equipment. + Lead and/or participate in implementing Engineering Change Requests + Analyze existing and future production capacity requirements. + Incorporate needs of Production into project and process activities. + Develop Preventive Maintenance and spare parts plan for equipment. + Provide and maintain project timelines and budgets. + Develop engineering practices and procedures to improve existing systems. + Support continuous improvement activities to address safety, quality and productivity for the assigned area. + Coordinate with maintenance to evaluate technician training gaps and recommended training. + Conduct regular audits (Quality- LPA, Work Station, 5S, Operator, etc.) + Controls experience preferred: 1. Safety PLC 2. Siemens 3. ABB Industrial Robot/Kassow Cobot **Qualifications** + Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Metallurgy from an accredited institution with minimum 3 yrs. experience in a manufacturing or other relevant industry experience. + Experience with machining process or heat treating processes preferred + Strong management and leadership skills + Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills + Analytical problem solver; experience with RedX methodology or other problem solving tools **Additional Information** **_Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans_** **Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
