Job Description The person in this role supports maintenance and operations by troubleshooting system issues and delivering engineered solutions that keep plant processes running safely and efficiently. They develop and maintain automation procedures, lead technical problem solving during breakdowns, and act as the department’s subject matter expert. The job includes planning and executing capital improvement projects while collaborating closely with cross functional teams. They also provide technical leadership by mentoring staff, managing automation and data systems, and ensuring reliable communication across PLCs, databases, historians, and related industrial technologies. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or software Engineering • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. • Ability to configure, program, and support automation systems including Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs • Experience building HMIs • Have ran a capital electrical/automation project from planning through execution. • Experience in Aluminum or Steel industrial manufacturing environment: working with Metals. • Supervision experience
