Responsible for developing control strategies, specifications, and system documentation for mechanical and building automation systems in compliance with industry standards and GMP requirements.
RequirementsKnowledge of mechanical systems and associated control strategies
Understanding of communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus) and their implementation
Familiarity with requirements for GMP facilities
Knowledge of life safety equipment including gas detection systems
Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam
CAD experience (preferred but not required)
Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of building codes related to automation
Knowledge of ASHRAE standards
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with mechanical team to develop control strategies for mechanical equipment
Review and interpret P&IDs to determine correct instrumentation and ensure operational sequences conform to industry standards
Create specifications for BAS vendors to build systems and define framework for system operation
Develop network architecture drawings to document system layout and connectivity
Ensure control system designs meet GMP requirements and integrate life safety systems
Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
