Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Configure database connections to DeltaV Alarm and Event Chronicle database

Build and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server with data transformation and conditional logic

Design Infobatch templates to capture alarm details such as module name, description, type, level, status, limits, and color coding

Automate Infobatch reports for scheduled PDF generation and distribution

Provide operations and management teams with alarm performance reports to support compliance with alarm philosophy

Manage ODBC connections, database permissions, and system integration within Windows server environments

Requirements:

Experience with DeltaV control systems including alarm configuration, historian, and Alarm and Event Chronicle database

Proficiency in SQL Server with expertise in writing and optimizing queries

Hands-on experience designing and automating Infobatch reports with data source configuration and conditional formatting

Knowledge of ODBC connections, Windows server environments, and database security management

Preferred Skills:

Experience in alarm management and performance monitoring in industrial environments

Familiarity with large-scale automated reporting and distribution systems

Understanding of compliance requirements related to alarm philosophy

Pay: 75-90

Pay Details: $75.00 to $90.00 per hour
