The Finance Digital Transformation team is at the forefront of business transformation, implementing technology solutions such as Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. As we drive standardization, simplification, and efficiency gains across the Finance function, we are seeking an Automation Design Manager to lead this evolution.

Lead the Design and Delivery stream in Finance Digital Transformation, collaborating with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Ownership & Technical Oversight

Lead the design and documentation of end-to-end automation solutions (UIPath, Power Platform, GenAI).Coordinate process design reviews and sign-off before development begins.Partner with Solution Architects and Developers to ensure technical feasibility and sustainability.Strategic Program ManagementAct as a co-lead in managing the automation delivery roadmap, maintaining access to all active projects, timelines, risks, and team capacity.Monitor team performance metrics and provide suggestions for improving delivery speed and quality.Support portfolio governance and value realization with clear communication of project status, impact, and next steps.Team Leadership & CollaborationGuide and mentor analysts and designers to ensure high-quality outputs and growth.Collaborate closely with the Discovery and Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and customer happiness.Foster a learning culture through internal training, playbook creation, and process documentation.Collaborator Engagement & ReportingCommunicate project value and progress to senior leadership and business partners with clarity and impact.Represent the Design stream in governance calls and planning sessions.Influence cross-functional alignment by articulating the automation team’s role, scope, and constraints effectively.Administrative & Strategic SupportAssist the Senior Manager in planning team capacity, setting strategic priorities, and refining the value proposition.Support the creation of internal assets including training materials, dashboards, templates, and frameworks.Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Process Improvement roles.2+ years of hands-on experience crafting automation solutions (UiPath preferred).2–3 years of experience in people or project leadership.Experience with Agile delivery and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Power BI.Experience collaborating with business and technical collaborators on process optimization.Experience with workflow tools such as Workiva, and various Blackline modules; development and implementation is a plus.Familiarity with GenAI use cases in finance is a plus.Skills & StrengthsEffective Communicator: Confident presenter and facilitator, skilled at engaging collaborators at all levels.Skilled Problem Solver: Analytical individual who tackles underlying issues, handles risk, and achieves outcomes.Change Champion: Proactive and credible leader of transformation with a bias for action and collaboration.Team Builder: Guides talent and cultivates cross-stream alignment to enhance project delivery and team performance.

Certifications (Nice to Have)

Six Sigma Green Belt, Agile, UiPath certifications, or equivalent.
