**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Python and domain expertise in ISV and Hi-Tech. This hybrid role requires proficiency in English and offers a day shift with no travel requirements. **Responsibilities** + Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality. + Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Python to enhance testing efficiency. + Provide detailed reports on test results identifying and documenting defects clearly. + Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance. + Conduct thorough regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are not affected by new changes. + Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues early. + Utilize domain expertise in ISV and Hi-Tech to tailor testing approaches to specific industry needs. + Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement. + Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing processes. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics. Min 2 years of work experience required with excellent communication skills in English should be able to read write speak fluently Experienced user of mobile wearables and home technologies Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work both independently and as a team in a fastpaced environment Strong knowledge handson experience in Software Testing Life Cycle phases test case design test execution defect loggingtracking Ability to analyze test results and identify patterns of issues troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed report Test Automation expertise required Knowledge in Swift language is a must Knowledge in Python language is desirable Candidate having knowledge in both Swift Python is preferred Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
