Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline field, preferably Mechanical or Robotics EngineeringExperience in automation and control systems in a manufacturing or production environmentUtilize CAD and 3D printing technologies effectively.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Ability to maintain technical documentation.Ability to train production personnel to utilize automated processes.Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and organizational skills.Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimizationExperience with electrical systems.Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, and developers, to ensure successful project execution.Familiarity with PLC controls (Rockwell Automation, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and SCADA platforms (Ignition and Wonderware).Familiarity ladder logic for a control scheme.Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, VBA, and SQL.Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.Benefits/Salary:

Responsibilities:
Perform PLC, ignition and other controls related changes to reduce downtime, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.Ensure that the instruments and controls comply with all internal and external health and safety regulations and requirements.Collaborates with plant personnel on problem solving activities, cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements of manufacturing equipment and processes.Oversee the implementation of automation projects.Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless transitions during the automation process.Provide constructive feedback and support for automation initiatives.Identify and eliminate manual processes to enhance efficiency.Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing automation and control systems.Stay aware of the latest advancements in automation technologies.Understand manufacturing processes to develop effective automation solutions.Interact with outside vendors or suppliers for training coordination, getting support, etc. for automation and control systemsCreate and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including design specifications, user manuals, and procedures.
