Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description

We are seeking a highly organized Mechanical Drafter who is technically proficient in creating and reviewing mechanical drawings using CAD software. This role requires adherence to safe work habits, including wearing PPE and following OSHA guidelines while in the manufacturing area.

ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software.Review and update mechanical drawings and job information.Ensure adherence to all safety standards and protocols.
Essential SkillsProficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor.Strong organizational skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings, technical manuals, and diagrams.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's Degree with 0-10 years of experience.Experience with mechanical drawings and BOM procurements preferred.Experience with heat exchange or similar mechanical plant equipment.
Work Environment

This position requires working on-site five days per week, with remote work opportunities evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The role offers optional overtime for hourly workers and provides three weeks of PTO once direct employment is secured.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duquesne, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
