Create Shop Drawings: Use AutoCAD (and other relevant software like SolidWorks or Microvellum) to develop accurate and detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings for custom millwork, casework, cabinetry, and architectural elements (e.g., panel systems, reception desks, trims). ...
Interpret Blueprints: Read, analyze, and interpret architectural blueprints, specifications, and design intent documents to ensure drawings are compliant with project requirements, industry standards (like AWI), and building codes.
Prepare Manufacturing Documentation: Generate comprehensive support documents, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), cut lists, hardware schedules, and installation guides for the manufacturing, machining, and assembly teams.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Engineers, and Shop Floor personnel to resolve design discrepancies, clarify missing details, and ensure design feasibility before production.
Revisions and Submittals: Prepare initial client approval drawings and manage the revision process based on client feedback, field measurements, and redlines, maintaining strict version control and documentation.
Quality Assurance: Perform self-checks and peer reviews to ensure the accuracy of dimensions, materials, and fabrication methods on all drawings prior to release.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
