We are seeking an Auto Repossession Specialist to join our growing Centralized Operations Call Center team in Charlotte, NC! In this position you will support the auto repossession and remarketing process for the company and report directly to the Central Operations Supervisor. The Auto Repossession Specialist is an in-office, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm role with a starting base pay of $35,000 (paid hourly), base pay varies depending on experience. This position also receives a monthly bonus earning up to $1000! You will play an integral role in maintaining all aspects of the repossession process, develop strategies to define and measure progress for repossession and maintain vendor relationships while working closely with operations, branch network, compliance, audit, legal, and other internal and external contacts. Job responsibilities are as follows: + Partner with shareholders to ensure business objectives and lead indicators related to auto repossessions are achieved. + Actively participate as core member on all projects related to the end-to-end auto repossession process. + Engage, monitor and communicate with branch network in collection activities during the process. + Ensure departmental processes are adhered to while maintaining updated process and procedures. + Responsible for identifying and reducing costs, maintaining compliance and reducing or eliminating risk where possible through the evaluation of current business methods and processes, analysis, trending, control implementation and the promotion of technology resources. + Engage compliance team when appropriate; Solicit clarification and interpretations of new and existing regulations that affect the organizations current and future processes. + Prepare impact analysis identifying how change will affect policies, procedures, people and systems. + Responsible for ensuring department standards and goals are achieved while maintaining operations within the forecasted expense budget. + Collaborate with the appropriate business heads to support critical business projects. + Monitor work flow to ensure the highest levels of efficiency. + Ensure all legally required communications and final accounting of liquidation proceeds are applied and accounted for accurately. Requirements + 3 years Republic Finance branch experience or 1-3 years in a centralized operations environment and/or call center experience + Auto loan servicing experience a strong plus + Strong understanding of centralized operations work-flow management + Detailed understanding of Call Center operations + Strong communication and writing skills. + An individual who takes a lead by example approach in working with team members.
