Summary Operates multiple machines that perform the racking of screws by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.Ability to verify correct part selection.Ability to identify and fix malfunctions.Monitors Robots; Quality inspects robot performance.Ability to assess and maintain airlines.Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as clearing jammed fasteners, setting guides, clearing away damaged fasteners, or replacing some parts.Verifies proper piece count to rack requirements.Feeds product into hopper; loads racking trays into machine; unloads racked product and loads into Kanban carts.Keeps washer bowl filled.Adjust assembly machine bowls for variance in parts by moving in-line guides and bowl speed and width.Adjust alignment on racking belt guide when changing parts.At the end of shift properly prepare machine(s) for next shift and communicate current operation status for machines(s) to next shift operator.Must observe assembly machine for lubrication requirements per shift.Ability to use and confidently move around computer display screens and diagnostics.Follows standard work and performs daily and/or preventative maintenance per schedules.Consistently follows and promotes 5s standards to ensure work area is clean and safe to work in.Competencies

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer/Human Machine Interface (HMI) Skills
Ability to use and confidently move around computer display screens and diagnostics.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to use hand tools such as metric ball end hex keys, drive ratchet with socket, adjustable and metric combination wrenches, tubing cutters and others; Mechanical aptitude.
