Company: Assured Automotive Job Description: The Auto Body Apprentice repairs minor vehicle damage while shadowing a licensed Auto Body Technician. The Auto Body Apprentice works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs. Key Job Responsibilities + Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. + Repairs vehicles as per insurance guidelines and our quality standards + Inspect and disassemble the vehicle to determine all damages at the beginning of the repair + Repair minor damage to vehicle’s body panels + Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components and vehicle accessories + Reassemble vehicle once repairs are complete + Inspect completed work to ensure the repair is up to quality standards + Shadow a Licensed Auto Body Technician to perform repairs + Actively pursues learning opportunities and applies newly gained knowledge to tasks, contributing to high-quality work and continuous improvement. Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job + High School Diploma or equivalent + Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program + Minimum 1 years of Auto Body Technician experience Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities + Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding) Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc. + Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs. + You have your own toolbox + Valid driver’s license required Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
