This position requires multi-tasking, computer skills, good oral and written communication and customer service etiquette. Function as a part of the team and keep everyone apprised of the authorization situation. Responsible for Agency’s ability to bill and be paid for visits made by the field staff. + Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service to our professional staff and insurance representatives + Run and utilize computer reports regularly + Provide accurate, complete updates to Agency management on status of authorizations for all patients requiring treatment authorization + Obtain and track authorization for all patients for whom their insurance requires pre-authorization + Clearly document all authorization requests + Communicate with multiple disciplines + Notify Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and works to help provide solutions + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + Excellent phone and customer service skills + Successful completion of LPN program + Possess current professional license in good standing and maintains + Experience in dealing with insurance companies + Computer skills to include word, data entry + Must follow written and verbal instructions + Must pay attention to detail + Use computer programs effectively + Communicate effectively verbally and in writing + Listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences + Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary home- and community-based pharmacy and provider health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
