**Overview**
**Compensation:** $65,000 annual salary (US Dollars)

**Key Responsibilities:**
**1. Processing and Audit Review Complaints:**
+ Review complaints, ensuring all required information is present and accurate, including the relevant Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) codes.
+ Log and file all complaints in a timely and organized manner, maintaining proper records for ongoing tracking and reference.
+ When complaints reveal infractions, suspend the taxi medallion's privilege for airport use as per the established regulations, ensuring strict adherence to airport policies.
**2. Driver Interaction and Issue Resolution:**
+ Conduct regular meetings with taxi drivers during office hours to listen to their concerns, offer guidance, and address complaints.
+ Investigate complaints from drivers regarding taxi dispatchers. This includes evaluating the validity of complaints, conducting investigations when necessary, and taking corrective actions.
+ Handle complaints made against taxi drivers, ensuring they are valid, fair, and handled according to the rules and regulations of JFK, EWR and LGA.
**3. Investigate Integrity and Compliance Issues:**
+ Investigate reports of bribery, illegal loading, and other corrupt practices within airport operations. Utilize complaints and surveillance data to gather evidence and identify violations.
+ Leverage surveillance tools and other data to identify possible illegal activities and performance violations at the airport, taking appropriate action when necessary.
**4. Ensure Compliance with Airport Rules and Regulations:**
+ Investigate and address any actions that may be taken to circumvent airport rules and regulations. Work proactively to identify potential violations and take necessary corrective actions to ensure integrity.
+ Continuously audit contractor activities to ensure all operational objectives are being met, and contractor integrity is maintained at all times.
**5. Performance Reporting:**
+ Develop and produce monthly performance measures reports, highlighting key dispatch activity by terminal, hour of day, and day of the week.
+ Analyze metrics including the number of cabs dispatched, short haul vs long haul trips, dwell times in taxi holds, and taxi lines at terminal frontages.
+ Ensure all performance measures are accurately captured, and prepare reports as required by the Port Authority Manager.
**6. Collaboration and Compliance:**
+ Work closely with members of the Port Authority Aviation Department, Airport Access Unit, Audit Division, Office of the Inspector General, and Port Authority Police.
+ Support these departments on matters related to contract compliance, contractor integrity, and ensure proper procedures are followed.
+ Maintain open communication channels to assist in any audits, investigations, or reviews related to taxi dispatch operations.
**7. Monitoring and Exception Reporting:**
+ Review all activity and exception reports generated by the taxi dispatch system on a regular basis.
+ Identify, document, and analyze any discrepancies, exceptions, or issues found in these reports.
+ Establish and implement procedures for tracking and following up on exceptions to ensure proper resolution.
**8. Routine Review and Reporting:**
+ Regularly review activity and exception report findings with the Regional Audit Manager.
+ Report any suspected abuse, procedural deviations, or malfeasance to the Regional Audit Manager for further investigation and corrective action.
