Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

As an Audit Manager at PwC Mongolia, you will lead audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and client service. You will play a key role in managing teams, developing talent, and driving innovation in audit delivery through technology and strategic insight. 

 What you will do

Lead and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with PwC methodology, regulatory requirements, and internal policies

Plan and manage audit engagements, including risk assessments, testing strategies, and internal control evaluations

Review and finalize audit documentation and reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with professional standards

Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders

Supervise and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance

Maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and delivering value-added services

Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to enhance audit methodologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient audit delivery

Contribute to strategic initiatives such as improving audit efficiency through technology and strengthening market presence

What you will bring along 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in a Big Four environment 

Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISAs and local accounting standards; knowledge of ESG Sustainability reporting is a plus

Proven leadership and project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
