Job Description

This position involves the overall supervision and direction of the Internal Audit Department's activities. These activities are designed to provide management with reasonable assurance that the system of internal control, both manual and automated, is functioning properly.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct the activities of the Internal Audit Department.Ensure the system of internal control is functioning properly.Provide management with reasonable assurance of control system effectiveness.Collaborate with the legal department and report to legal counsel.Offer technical advice to management during their risk assessment process.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 6 years of audit or related experience, including supervisory and planning responsibilities.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).Strong auditing skills and knowledge of risk assessment processes.Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with staff and management at all levels.Management and team building abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Healthcare experience is preferred.Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration is advantageous.Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Access.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
