Audit Director
Description We are looking for an experienced Audit Director to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. This leadership role requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in managing audit engagements, fostering client relationships, and mentoring teams. The ideal candidate will contribute to our firm's growth by delivering exceptional service and supporting strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit projects for clients across diverse industries, including construction, real estate, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, and governmental sectors. • Ensure audit engagements comply with U.S. standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. • Review complex financial statements and accompanying disclosures to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Provide expert guidance on audit processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting matters. • Mentor and manage audit staff and managers, fostering a culture of growth and team excellence. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings. • Participate in business development efforts, including networking and marketing to enhance the firm's audit practice. • Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements. • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by offering actionable insights and recommendations. • Prepare to assume a future partner role by managing a portfolio of audit clients and driving business growth. Requirements • Extensive experience in audit management, ideally within industries such as construction, real estate, manufacturing, retail, and governmental entities. • Strong knowledge of U.S. audit standards and applicable regulatory frameworks. • Proven ability to review and interpret complex financial statements and disclosures. • Expertise in providing technical guidance on audit and accounting issues. • Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring and managing audit teams. • Exceptional client relationship management and business development capabilities. • Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to organizational initiatives. • CPA certification or equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
