The Audiologist I performs audiological diagnosis, case coordination, and treatment for a wide variety of patients, including those who are medically complex. This role also supports research and administrative functions as assigned. Working within a collaborative and family-centered environment, the Audiologist I ensures high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the needs of pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities: + Conducts comprehensive audiological evaluations, obtains case histories, and interprets behavioral and physiological test results to develop individualized management and treatment plans. + Counsels patients and families on test results, communication strategies, hearing technologies, and funding sources; coordinates follow-up care and interdisciplinary communication. + Supports clinical operations by managing schedules, addressing urgent patient needs, maintaining hearing technology supplies and equipment, and contributing to continuous professional development and knowledge sharing. Minimum Qualifications: Education: + Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders required + Doctoral Degree preferred Area of Study: + Audiology required Experience: + Minimum of 1 year of clinically supervised experience in pediatric audiology required Licensure/Certification: + Current license in Audiology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology required within 6 months of hire Office/Site Location:NeedhamRegular, Temporary, Per Diem:Regular Remote Eligibility :Onsite Only
