Job Description
Our healthcare client is hiring an Audiologist who will administer diagnostic audiological tests to differentiate between types of hearing disorders, coordinate and interpret test results, and consult with and make recommendations on hearing disorders to physicians.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides diagnostic evaluation of hearing, prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services for auditory problems and research relating to hearing and attendant disorders.
- Physically and otoscopically examines the outer structures of the ear.
- Procedures may include appropriate ear cleaning evaluation, fitting and dispensing of hearing aids; cochlear implant assessment, programming and rehabilitation; and electrophysiologic evaluation of the vestibular and auditory mechanisms, in addition to electroacoustic measures of the peripheral and central auditory systems.
- Counsels individuals with auditory disorders, their families, and other service providers regarding the etiology of the disorder and its management.
- Provides reports and coordinates audiological results with other diagnostic data such as educational, medical, social and behavioral information.

Skills and Requirements
- Masters degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) prior to employment start date.
- Audiologist License (California) required at hire OR Temporary Audiologist License (California) required at hire
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association - One (1) year of post-licensure experience in the field of audiology.
