Audio and Visual Technician

General Summary

Provides a variety of audio-visual support services and expertise. Operates and maintains highly technical audio-visual equipment in various venues and settings.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Operates and manages the use and maintenance of internet video-conferencing equipment. Operates and manages the use and maintenance of Smart Boards, LCD projectors and audio systems. Operates and manages video archiving systems. Maintains an audio-visual equipment pool. Coordinates requests for equipment use and ensures that equipment is delivered to designated area and is returned after use.

Common Expectations:

Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Associates Degree Required

Work Experience:

2 years Media technical services or computer science experience. Required

Driver's License Statement:

Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

Courses and Training:

Microsoft certification (MCTS or MCITP). Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong Windows PC desktop skills and server application management skills.
