Athletic Trainer – High School (Full-Time) Schedule: 40 hours/week (1:30pm - 6:30pm/7:30pm / Depends on sporting event end time) Duration: 39 weeks Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: High School Setting Travel: None required Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to support a high school athletic program. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and guide student-athletes recovering from or working to prevent athletic-related injuries and illnesses. This position plays a critical part in fostering safe participation in sports and promoting optimal physical performance during school hours and school-related after-hours events. The Athletic Trainer will focus on musculoskeletal injury prevention, early intervention, and upstream care strategies, following all school district policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities + Evaluate athletic injuries and develop appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans. + Provide immediate care and first aid for acute injuries during practices, games, and school events. + Implement injury prevention programs and educate students on safe training techniques. + Collaborate with coaches, school administrators, parents, and healthcare providers. + Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district policies. + Utilize therapeutic modalities and established rehabilitation techniques to support recovery. Minimum Requirements + State Athletic Training licensure, certification, and/or registration (required in all states except CA). + Must be a certified Athletic Trainer and have successfully passed the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. + Personal trainers do not qualify. + Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation methods. + Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. + Current CPR certification. + Must be at least 18 years of age.
