Occupational/Industrial Athletic Trainer
The Occupational/Industrial Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing "Occupational Injury Prevention and Wellness Services" to clients, employees, and other patients under a supervising physician and in direct contact with Novant Health Employer Solutions/Occupational Medicine leadership and providers.
The Occupational Athletic Trainer Responsibilites include:
+ To provide appropriate preventative and post-injury treatment
+ Instructs individuals on injury prevention techniques, job hazard analysis, ergonomic assessments, first aid and injury care.
+ Demonstrates ability to perform the following functions regarding injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid) and reconditioning
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: Part-Time, 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday – Friday, Flexible schedule

Qualifications
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years collegiate or professional experience, recommended but not required.
+ Licensure/Certification: Current AT Licensure in appropriate state, required. Current BOC Certification, required.
+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
+ Additional Skills (preferred): Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, XPS, CES national certification(s). Ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
