Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent will lead key aspects of daily operations and course maintenance at Webbs Reserve Golf Course. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven turfgrass professional seeking career advancement in a dynamic, high-performance environment. The role offers hands-on experience with championship-level course conditions, involvement in capital improvement projects, and mentorship from seasoned industry leaders.

Responsibilities: Assist in daily golf course setup, crew supervision, and assignment of tasks Monitor irrigation systems and moisture management across playing surfaces Apply fertilizers and plant protectants with proper documentation and safety compliance Assist with calibration and operation of spray and spreader equipment Help lead small project teams on drainage, landscaping, and bunker renovations Support all cultural practices including aerification and routine maintenance Maintain a high standard of quality, detail, and safety in all work performed Participate in ongoing training, leadership development, and agronomic planning Qualifications: 2- or 4-year degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or related field (or currently enrolled) 1+ year golf course maintenance experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a passion for the turfgrass industry Willingness to learn and grow within a high-performing team Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed What We Offer: Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Uniforms and golf privileges GCSAA /Local chapter Support Opportunities for advancement within a respected management.
