Overview of the Job: Build seasonal SKU-level assortment financial and illustrative plans for a retail concept that ties to the business plans and targets. Lead period analysis, including but not limited to style-level sell through to influence current and future seasons.

NSP Retail MerchandisingSports PlanningSales Business PlanningAccount PartnersPre-seasonLead assortment pitch back session, get alignment with NSP merch and Sales team to balance biz and buzzDeliver a qualified SKU-level assortment plan by door clusters base on APS, selling weeks and sell-thru forecast, align key style depth planning methodology internallyDrive concept Hindsight, summarize highlights and learnings, define risks and opportunities. Align planning guiding principle with X-function teamBuild distinguish assortment plan for concept top doors to fulfill specific consumer needsBuild/refine a style-level plan to color based on marketplace strategies and opportunities; ensure plan reconciles with topline financial plan developed by the BP.In-seasonLead period analysis, including but not limited to SKU-level sell through to influence current and future seasons.Recommend actions to cross function partner based on sales performancePost-seasonRecap the performance of the assortment including sell-through, color performance, and SKU productivityProvide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders Merchandising/Sales/consumer planning for future season planningRecap performance of key retail moments to provide insights for future planningJob Qualifications:
Buying, Planning, Assortment Planning experience with other apparel / footwearComprehensive understanding of retail mathAbility to create reports, style-level sales plans, track promotional calendar/events and pre-meeting prepStrong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence othersAdvanced knowledge of MS office applications; proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functionsStrong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the businessCritical Experiences Gained:
