Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Urban Planner to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of urban planning projects that shape the future of our rapidly growing city.

Assist in the preparation and review of urban development plans, including land use, transportation, and infrastructure projectsConduct research and analyze data to support urban planning decisions and policy recommendationsPrepare detailed reports, presentations, and maps using various planning software and toolsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialistsParticipate in public meetings and stakeholder consultations to gather input on planning initiativesSupport the development and implementation of zoning regulations and land use policiesContribute to the creation of sustainable and livable urban environmentsAssist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationStay updated on best practices and emerging trends in urban planning and sustainable development

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field; Master's degree preferred13+-15 years of experience in urban planning or a related fieldProficiency in urban planning software, such as ArcGIS and AutoCADStrong data analysis and visualization skillsExcellent project management abilitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProven research and report writing capabilitiesIn-depth knowledge of urban planning principles and practicesFamiliarity with zoning regulations and land use policiesUnderstanding of sustainable development practicesAbility to work efficiently and organize multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel within the city and region as needed
