Title Specialist
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Title Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in processing and perfecting automotive titles accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with state-specific requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. This is an in-office position. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and perfect automotive titles in the correct lending partner's name within established timelines. • Verify and audit loan and title documents to ensure all details are accurate and complete. • Maintain the Title Check Queue and ensure tasks are managed effectively and efficiently. • Provide timely and constructive feedback to management on title processing issues. • Deliver exceptional customer service and meet established service level agreements. • Stay informed about state-specific title laws and requirements for lien perfection. • Handle sensitive information with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. • Assist in updating internal processes to reflect changes in state titling forms and requirements. • Monitor accounts for potential fraud or irregularities and escalate concerns appropriately. • Document information in the system of record following applicable policies and procedures. Requirements Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is a plus. • At least 2 years of experience in title processing or dealership operations is required. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities. • Ability to de-escalate challenging situations and provide effective resolutions.
