Associate Territory Manager – Medical, Singapore

About the job:

This role assists in the execution of business strategy for Medical (Acute, Emergency Care & SAGE) business for Singapore by promoting and selling our products, services and solutions to current and new customers. This role will also be required to meet growth targets and deliver levels of service and professionalism consistent with the strategic plan across the region. The Associate Territory Manager will be required to provide technical clinical/specialist expertise to both internal and external stakeholders whilst maximising the Franchise’s opportunities to win and maintain business in said market.

What you will be doing:

Assist the Business Development Manager to maximise sales by maintaining existing customers and developing new customers in line with the available product and to fit customer needsAssist the Business Development Manager in the development of territory sales plans based on area saturation for a particular product, potential growth and market feedback and competitor activitiesResponsible to provide monthly sales forecast, meeting sales targets and visibility in pipelines across the FranchisesPlan and conduct regular sales calls in accordance with the Business Development Manager’s sales planWork and lead sales opportunities for both direct & indirect businesses by identifying untapped business opportunities, formulate account strategies and ensure effective implementation of territory action plansMaintain up-to-date knowledge of products and application in line with customer expectations and in order to demonstrate how customer needs can be metDevelop relationships within hospitals to provide the greatest benefit to Stryker and maximise cross selling opportunities.Provide regular market/competitor updates, sharing findings about market trendsPeriodically prepare sales performance analyses in sales results, forecast and critical issues as needed.Conduct regular product in-service and product presentation to the customersSupport Marketing initiatives including trade shows (exhibition, workshop, etcs) and other key events.Work closely with the Business Development Manager and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tender submissions for hospitals and government projects.Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Clinical, Finance, Supply Chain, Service, and Regulatory teams to support business objectives.Knowledge on and commitment to quality standards through the use of local quality management system and local programs in day to day activities. Participation in continuous process improvement aligned with the quality standards.

Who are we looking for:

At least 3 years of sales/business development experience in a medical and/or technology related industry with a demonstrated track record of success in sales and winning new businessDegree / Diploma in a related science technology or business field    Demonstrated Product/Industry knowledge and/or the ability to gain that knowledge to build effective relationships with customers and stakeholdersExperience and exposure to sales negotiation and business development practices including territory planning, customer management and lead generation and conversionPresentation and communication skills to effectively build relationships with KOLs, other key customers, stakeholders and senior members of the hospitals and government agenciesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a broader sales team, demonstrating accountability for assigned responsibilities while collaborating closely with Business Development Manager, Marketing Team and cross-functional partners exposure to financial analysis, budgets, sales forecasting, pipelines management and tender related commercial considerationsStrong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple
