How will you make an impact in this role?
The Technology Vendor Management (TVM) team plays a critical role in driving strategic engagement with technology vendors, ensuring that American Express receives maximum value from its vendor partnerships. In this role, you will collaborate with US and global colleagues to manage vendor data, support vendor analysis, a key role in managing billing, compliance, and vendor relationships, while supporting strategic projects across geographies and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Validate and process technology vendor invoices against approved contracts/SOWs, ensuring timely and accurate payments, including handling disputes with vendors/internal teams
Manage accruals and other accounting entries in partnership with Technology Controllership
Support the procurement of technology assets and services focusing on correct accounting of the same
Drive and support continuous process improvements and automation initiatives
Handle issue management and contractual compliance
Prepare Monthly Invoice Review presentations, Billing data trend analysis
Provide local support during audits (internal and external) related to vendor billings
Ensure vendors comply with India’s Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act
Take ownership of additional responsibilities and cross-functional projects as assigned
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including Legal, Tax, Controllership, GSM, and vendor partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in invoice payments, financial/data analytics, or contract management,
preferably within IT services.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
