Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining the technology industry?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed systems and delivering the next generation of cloud computing to support the US public sector and organizations in highly regulated industries. We hold high standards for our systems and the services we deliver to our customers: they are highly secure, highly reliable, highly available, all while functioning at massive scale. Our employees are smart, passionate about the cloud, driven to serve customers, and fun to work with.
The AWS GovCloud (US) GTM team is looking for an eager, curious and self-motivated Associate Technical Program Manager to join our fast-paced organization. As an associate technical program manager, you will have exciting opportunities to support shaping, defining and delivering technical services and features for our customers that use the AWS GovCloud (US) region.
To succeed, you need to be motivated by putting customers first; understand what customers need and don’t rest until we deliver it. You are detail-oriented with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. You learn from mistakes and love working with really smart people. You have a solid understanding of product/project management fundamentals (e.g. business case, risk management, schedule management, and negotiation). You are comfortable briefing leadership, even when you have bad news and can communicate effectively with business and technical teams both verbally and in writing.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.
