Overview As an Azure Data Factory and Databricks Support Engineer at Publicis Sapient, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of Azure-based data solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of cloud data infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with clients, developers, and cross-functional teams, requiring both strong technical skills and clear communication. Responsibilities Your Impact Act as the main escalation point for L1 issues related to Azure, ADF, and Databricks in production environments. Monitor, restart, and troubleshoot data pipelines and batch jobs, ensuring timely resolution of incidents. Investigate complex data processing issues across ADF pipelines and Databricks notebooks, collaborating with development teams. Maintain and update SOPs, incident documentation, and participate in root cause analyses and post-mortems. Identify areas for automation to reduce manual support tasks and improve operational efficiency. Support ad hoc development activities when platform health allows, such as enhancements to pipelines or validation of new features. Contribute to platform reliability improvements through scripting, monitoring optimization, and proactive issue detection. Coordinate effectively with client teams in local time zones and participate in ITIL-aligned processes including incident, change, and problem management. Qualifications Your Skills and Experience 2-4 years of experience in production or application support roles with a strong focus on Azure-based environments. Solid hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), including pipeline monitoring, error handling, and performance tuning. Experience working with Azure Databricks for data engineering, notebook troubleshooting, and cluster management. Proficiency in Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for system observability and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of Azure storage solutions such as Data Lake Storage (Gen2) and Blob Storage. Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, and understanding of ITIL processes. Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot distributed data systems, and understand dependencies across services. Comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment with shift flexibility and prioritization under pressure. Additional information This position is full time and open for contractor modality in Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica.
