Associate Strategic Account Executive

As an Associate Strategic Account Executive **,** you will be responsible for providing complete service and benefit management of Small Group clients (2-10 lives). This include serving as a liaison between the client, the firm and the carriers. To empower our employees to learn, grow and make a difference in their communities. **Our Core Values:** + **Entrepreneurship:** We encourage innovation and educated risk-taking. + **Integrity:** We do the right thing every time. + **Teamwork:** We work together to maximize results. + **Accountability:** We measure and take responsibility for outcomes. + **Service:** We serve customers, communities and colleagues. **We are the perfect fit if you:** + Are seeking a progressive work environment at a rapidly growing organization + Have an entrepreneurial spirit and are challenged by the opportunity to grow the business + Are focused on learning and development to enhance your industry knowledge and expertise + Are a self-starter willing to invest time and energy to learn the technical aspects of our business + Believe in integrity and building success by developing relationships with others **Your job responsibilities as an Associate Strategic Account Executive:** + Manage the renewal process for the client, and obtain proposals form alternate carriers as necessary, ensuring all relevant and necessary information that is obtained from the client and the carriers, is reviewed, and is processed as required. + Present the renewal and alternates to the client ensuring the client has the necessary information to make an educated and financially sound decision. + Provide overall coordination of program changes with carriers, ensuring due diligence is performed so that no insured loses coverage. + Work with client sand carriers to ensure the plan implementation and enrollment process for renewals and/or changing carriers is completed accurately and in a timely manner. + Work with clients and carriers to ensure new-hires are enrolled, status changes are processed and terminated employees are removed from appropriate policies. + Answer client questions regarding procedural matters, plan provisions, claims issues, billing issues and any other benefit related situations. Conducts research as necessary. + Attend client meetings, as requested. Document all client decisions and meetings. + Provide administrative guide and teach clients new requirements for administering the plan. Assist clients in setting up new internal procedures as needed. + Audit commission revenue statements for each line of coverage to ensure proper payment is received. + Review plan documents for completeness and accuracy and obtaining corrections from carrier as needed. + Set up and maintain client data in internal databases by organizing plan information received from carriers and clients. Ensure data is accurate and reflects current client information. + Maintain an understanding of carrier procedures and products to provide recommendations to the client that fit their needs. + Continuously keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and identify opportunities for clients to utilize the information in their operations. + Establish, maintain, and enrich relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., clients, carriers, vendors, etc.) + Lead efforts in ensuring the client is compliant with federal regulations. + Assist client in the development of employee communications strategies to include appropriate documentation necessary for the communication. + Proactively seek opportunities to grow the relationship with the client by identifying additional services/features the client does not currently subscribe to, but would benefit the client. + Must be flexible to meet with prospects and clients beyond core business hours. + Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the company and departmental policy manuals. + Other duties may be assigned. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. + Minimum four years of experience in group insurance as an insurance representative, marketing support, plan administration, corporate benefits coordination, or related field preferred. + An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. + Must be thorough, detail-oriented and is responsible for working with confidential information. + Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs. + Ability to function independently with minimal supervision. **Why Choose HUB?** At HUB, we believe in investing in the future of our employees and provide continuous opportunities for growth and development.
