As the Associate/ Sr. Assoc./ Manager - Design and Animation, you will play a vital role in transforming strategic ideas into captivating visual content. Whether for social media, presentations, events, web or internal communications, you will be responsible for designing both static and animated assets that communicate with clarity, creativity, and impact. You will distill complex concepts into visual stories through motion graphics, short-form animations, and designs that are cohesive, on-brand, and tailored for a variety of audiences and platforms. By staying current with design and animation trends, you will proactively introduce fresh ideas and innovative approaches to every project.

In this position, both speed and precision are essential. You will juggle multiple creative projects simultaneously, balancing quick turnarounds with meticulous attention to detail. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with creative directors, writers, communications leads, and agency partners to conceptualize, create, and advise on compelling visuals that meet strategic objectives and uphold brand standards. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in user experience and accessibility to ensure all creative work follows best practices and delivers an inclusive experience across all formats and channels.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for a design-driven storyteller who excels at collaborating with others to deliver top-tier, functional, and audience-focused content—efficiently and consistently.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in design, fine arts, visual communications or a related field2+ years of experience as a designer or creative lead for a major brand, in-house creative team or agency.Experience in design, animation and presentation building software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, including AfterEffects, PowerPoint)Design portfolio required with submission of application; please provide link or attachment.Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Other InformationThis position will report to the Executive Director of Creative, Global Communications.Some international and domestic travel expected as conditions and business need arise.Located in Indianapolis. Fully remote work will not be considered, but relocation provided.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $129,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
