Job Profile SummaryThe Fund Administration team within Omnium Platform Services provides fund accounting, partnership accounting and investor services to a group of clients primarily made up of hedge funds.  We are seeking an experienced individual with technical experience who will be focused on ensuring execution is accurate and seamless while elevating the client experience.  This role will be responsible for service delivery, coordination and client engagement.  This individual must execute on the vision, strategy, and performance goals for the team and is expected to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  The ideal candidate has problem-solving skills, operational expertise, and the ability to independently drive accountability and high performance.Operational Oversight & Service DeliveryPrepare and review period end net asset valuation packages which include:  income statement, balance sheet, trial balance and relevant supporting schedules.  Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of deliverables and liaising with the client to close the period.Prepare and perform review of investor allocation schedules; including management fee and performance fee calculations.Prepare and perform review of fiscal year-end Financial Statements.  Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of deliverables and liaising with the client and external auditors to close the period.Provide technical expertise to the client and internally for new or complex products/services and oversee the implementation of new processes to support these products/services.Review and interpret client fund documents to ensure appropriate set-up and processing of deliverables.Take ownership of issue resolution, coordination and processes, ensuring timely escalation and effective problem-solving.Maintain a strong working relationship with clients and internal teams to enhance collaboration.  This includes global teams, technology, product and other service delivery teams.

Process Optimization & Workflow ManagementIdentify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.Ensure smooth handoffs between Omnium teams, minimizing friction and bottlenecks.Leverage data using client scorecards and call reports to drive operational efficiencies and service enhancements.Strategic Client Relationship ManagementOversee and ensure proactive client engagement, fostering strong partnerships and advocacy for client needs.Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and service enhancements.Partner with senior stakeholders to understand evolving client needs and position the team to meet them effectively.Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the client experience and increase service efficiency.Risk & Escalation ManagementLeverage industry and client knowledge to identify non-standard fund or fee structures and ensure appropriate escalation/risk mitigation.Identify and mitigate operational risks that could impact client service levels.Develop and maintain escalation frameworks that ensure consistent and effective issue resolution.Competencies Required:Professional experience:  Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, fund accounting and investor allocations for hedge funds and/or private equity funds or a related field. Technical Proficiency:  Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS principles.Market Proficiency:  Working knowledge of various financial products including listed products, otc derivatives, exchange traded derivatives, foreign exchange, privates and other financial instruments.  This should include understanding p&l calculations, accruals, etc.   Client-Centric Mindset:  Experience working in a client facing role with the ability to explain highly technical information, analyze data and build strong client relationships.CPA designation and big 4 accounting experience is a plus.Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting
