In Agile environments you will help each iteration reach the next level. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM CIC. In your role you may be responsible for: * Helping to validate requirements * Designing and executing verification tests under the direction of a senior tester or test lead, to identify errors and successes of the solution * Creating test data and preparing test environments * Identifying, understanding, and documenting inconsistencies between a solution and given requirements or design specifications * Participating in root-cause analyses * Building API tests, automated tests and performance tests using tools like Robot Framework, Tosca, SoapUI, Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, Cucumber, JMeter, etc * Presenting test results to clients and project teams * Sharing your knowledge within the QE team **Required technical and professional expertise** * Passionate about quality, software testing and continuous improvement * Basic understanding of the Software Testing process * Exposure to coding in any programming language and knowledge of the software development life cycle * Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology-based, consulting environment * Proficient in Dutch (speaking, writing and reading) * Proactive attitude * Meticulous and thorough with good communication skills **Preferred technical and professional experience** * ISTQB or TMAP certified * Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework (or similar) * Exposure to test management tools like Jira, Xray, Zephyr (or similar) * Exposure to performance test tools like JMeter (or similar) * Proficient in English (speaking, writing, reading) IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
