Job Title: Associate Scientist Location: Princeton, NJ Type: Contract Pay Rate: $28-38 per hour Hours: M-F 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Overview: This position is part of the front-end/upstream innovation department responsible for identifying consumer insights and developing technology innovation to provide the desired consumer benefit. The purpose of this role is to provide technical, laboratory-based assistance in the development of new oral care products and technologies. Responsibilities: + Formulation development, performance evaluation, and stability testing to support oral care product development + Utilization and development of existing or new in-vitro methods to assess new technology performance for oral care product innovation + Ability to make decisions and provide recommendations on next steps + Present data to the Global team, which includes scientists and non-scientists + Competitive product landscaping and performance assessment Requirements: + BS/MS in Chemistry, Formulation Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related science + Minimum of 2+ years of formulation experience, preferably in oral care + Must be able to embrace ambiguity and be creative + Must be able to work independently, have a “can do” attitude, and natural curiosity + Proficient in MS Office and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams) Ref: #558-Scientific System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
