Job Description
The Associate Scientist will perform product testing in a fast-paced laboratory environment, utilizing HPLC, GC, and FTIR techniques. The role demands precision and attention to detail as you conduct a variety of tests to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
ResponsibilitiesConduct bench-top chemistry tests, including viscosity and pH testing, to generate accurate data.Test various formulations such as creams, gels, solutions, topicals, foams, and ointments.Review, interpret, and execute analytical methods to ensure compliance with quality standards.Collaborate with lab counterparts across multiple shifts to verify analyses and maintain consistency.Escalate discrepancies to QC management if results do not align with expected outcomes.Manage a fast-paced and high-pressure workload, typically running two tests per day.Essential SkillsProficiency in chemistry techniques, including gravimetric testing and organic separations.Experience with HPLC and GC.Familiarity with specialty equipment such as polarimetry, UV-Vis, micro pipettors, and densitometers.Understanding of GMP and ISO certified environments.Ability to perform titration and gas chromatography.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Empower software and chromatography.Bachelor's degree in a science field, preferably chemistry, organic chemistry, or biochemistry.6 months to 1 year of post-academic experience in a chemistry or bioanalysis environment.Work Environment
The work environment is structured around a standard 1st shift schedule, running from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and provides a dynamic and challenging setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
