Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, the **Associate Sales Manager** position is responsible for proactively engaging new and existing customers within a defined geographic territory to drive market penetration and accelerate growth.
In this role, you will develop strategies to increase YOY revenue by engaging in-person & virtually to build funnel, prospect for new accounts, manage target accounts, and pursue projects. To be successful in this role, you will need to quickly build customer rapport and establish trust and credibility through a consultative selling style. You will develop close relationships with team members throughout the organization as you execute on regional action plans and contribute to the overall Sales Strategy.
**📍Hawaii**
This is a **hybrid** position, with **up to 50%** **travel across the state of Hawaii** **and 50%** **virtual coverage** for Arizona, and select counties in Southern California and Nevada
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Managing and growing a sales territory with a challenging, yet achievable growth target.
+ Engaging clients and prospects via phone or in-person to identify opportunities while utilizing established funnel management techniques.
+ Populating and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.
+ **Collaborating as a team** to build comprehensive solutions based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and or system optimization initiatives.
+ Conducting customer facing and virtual product presentations.
+ Partner with sales and project teams to define go-to-market strategies.
+ Solve complex treatment and monitoring challenges, delivering optimization and cost savings.
+ Provide market insights to influence strategic business and marketing plans.
**Essential Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred; (Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or Engineering disciplines).
+ Strong customer-facing experience in commercial, sales, or project roles.
+ 3+ years of Technical B2B sales experience
+ Demonstrated ability to listen to and seek out solutions to customer needs
+ Hands-on experience managing a CRM (we use Salesforce)
+ Ability to handle technical questions relating to the products
+ **Willingness to travel throughout Hawaii:** Visit different islands as part of your territory responsibilities. You can expect to have overnight stays in company-approved hotels.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
