Job Description

Responsible for the implementation, administration, interpretation, and enforcement of safety requirements including plant, Corporate, local, state and federal regulations. Establish safety standards based on risk/hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements and HSE management system (ISO 45001). Review of HSE incidents for root cause and establishment of corrective and preventative actions. Provide technical assistance with various plant staff functions. 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure compliance routes are completed and updated as neededBecome shop floor mentor and interface for HSE topicsHSE related communication including training, safety alerts and production review meetingsPrepare HSE related training material and lead training classes.Lead / take part in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actionsParticipate in/lead plant emergency response teamsConduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirementsDevelop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementationLead safety audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory and Bosch directivesConducts formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changesMaintain documentation to meet Bosch directives and regulatory requirementsProvide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teamsInteract with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies' requirementsMaintain documentation to meet Bosch directives and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in manufacturing/warehousing or industrial environmentValid Driver's LicenseComputer skills, strong MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

College degree relating to HSE Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001, ISO45001)Leadership skills Ability to work independently and/or with a team
