Associate Research Analyst, US Broadband
**About the Role:** **Grade Level (for internal use):** 09 The media research team at S&P Global Market Intelligence needs a creative and curious researcher to cover the satellite and fiber broadband industry (high speed internet connections) in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and is able to understand, or be willing to learn, data collection and analysis. We tell stories with audited and accurate data which are fundamental to producing the most interesting and proprietary research in the field. Our goal since 1969 has been to help business leaders in the TMT space make timely decisions from our research in the fast-paced and always changing media and telecommunications industry. Your research includes quarterly reporting analysis and data entry of leading industry companies (e.g. Verizon, T-Mobile, Starlink and Amazon Leo) in addition to industrywide ten-year forecasts and other reports as needed. This position contributes to 30+ data-first reports (1,000 - 3,000 words each) per year on subjects across the chasm of broadband technology and competition. **Qualifications** + Basic or advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Basic knowledge of survey design and analysis (preferred but not required). + Data entry and analysis + Writing and envisioning future trends to assist industry leaders in learning from the past and anticipating future developments. + Create engaging content that clients find indispensable. + Bachelor's degree holder, fresh grads are welcome to apply + 1 - 3 years of work experience + 8AM - 5PM PHST working schedule **About S&P Global Market Intelligence** At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
